Will + Jen – How blessed we are to have a loving family. The past 8 months flew by as Natalie & Peter have been an amazing part of that loving family. Living with us here on the farm we have had the opportunity to share in the excitement of their eagerly anticipated bundle of joy. As the little one has grown, so have the parents; learning to adapt with the changing lifestyle and realization of times to come.
Taking the photos to capture these precious moments has been completely our pleasure. We are extremely delighted for these soon-to-be new parents and the future that their little one will have.
With much love but heaviness of heart, next week we will see them leave our home on the prairie for the summits and grander of British Columbia. We will hold on to these cherished moments until we see you again…with the little one. <3
There are very few words that can describe the beauty of my dear friend Anna’s wedding. The weather was gorgeous, the white tent in her mom’s backyard was exquisite, every last detail was in place and perfect then there was the bride… Anna was absolutely stunning, a truly beautiful person, inside and out. It was such an honour to be able to spend the morning of the wedding with her and capture some of her special moments.
Will – “A short time but a good time” sums up how this last weekend was at the lake. With work on the farm it’s not often that I can get away longer than a day (usually sunday) to spend time at the cabin and get really settled in to relax. But this weekend afforded me the best of all scenarios! Arriving in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday, the wind was howling through the valley that the lake is situated in, and this means it’s time to windsurf. My saying is, “if there aren’t whitecaps, I’m not going out”…and let me tell you, there were whitecaps! After spending some time in the wind, I came back in for supper and enjoy an evening of conversation, homemade milkshakes and a movie on the big screen. Sunday was one of the most peaceful I’ve experienced at the lake, there wasn’t a trace of wind and the sun in all it’s splendor. Can’t wait to go back.
